Why haven't I been paid for my rental yet?
Payments for reservations are released to you 14 days after the end of your tenant's trip.
This period has been established to ensure there are no disputes between you, the owner/captain, and your tenant/co-navigator.
The time it takes for the money to reach your account also depends on the payment method you choose.
If you have not yet received payment for a reservation, one of the following two reasons may be the cause:
- Dispute: A dispute regarding the reservation in question is currently being handled by our dispute resolution service. We are working in collaboration with you and the renter to find an acceptable solution for all parties involved. Once the dispute is resolved, payment will be initiated promptly.
- Bank account update: Ensure that your bank account details are correctly entered on your boatUnity account. You can do this by logging in and accessing the "Account" section in the navigation menu, then selecting "Payment Preferences". You can then add or modify your payment methods and verify that the information is correct.
