I own a boat and I want to list it
Own a boat or a boat charter company? Create your first listing. It's free and easy. boatUnity simplifies the process in 5 steps, enabling you to dive right in and take care of it yourself.
- Create an account to register your boat
- Publish your listing (currently only for co-navigation)
- Manage your bookings
- Meet your fellow co-navigators
- Rate your experience
Important notice: For insurance purposes, the option of renting without a captain is exclusively reserved to boat charter companies and professionals. Currently, unless they have a commercial licence, private owners are encouraged to list their ads for co-navigation or rental with a captain only, but stay tuned, we are working hard to open the option for you to rent your boat without a captain in the future.
Create an account to list your boat
- To create a boatUnity account, click on “Sign Up” on the top right of any pages of boatUnity. You can create an account by email or through Facebook or Google. We recommend signing up with your email address as this will allow you to change the email or the password on your account later on. If you sign up through Facebook or Google, your boatUnity account will be linked to your Facebook/Google account, and you will not be able to change the email or password on your boatUnity account in the future.
- If you are already a user of boatUnity and want to see or edit your profile, click on “Log in” on the top right corner of any pages of boatUnity's website.
- boatUnity guarantees that complete names or contact details are not revealed on your public profiles. You can rest assured that your information remains secure.
Publish your sale listing or rental listing (only for co-navigation for now unless you have a commercial licence)
- Click on the button "List your boat" (top right corner) and select whether you want to list your boat for rent or for sale
- Complete your profile, choose your boat category and complete the form. Use captivating photos in your listing as they are the first thing co-boaters notice before booking. Professional photographers or smartphone snapshots can showcase the boat in detail and capture the detailled experience your guests will be immersed in.
- Once done, share your listing with the community and voilà, you are done!
Manage your reservation

Meet your co-navigators
Once you have a confirmed reservation, it’s time to prepare for your co-sailors / renters! You can use boatUnity's messaging system to get in touch with your co-navigator before the excursion. Evaluate your experience
In addition to comments, reviews are an incredible tool to boost engagement and foster a sense of community. As a boat owner, you can use this tool to effectively capture the attention of new users. Through the exchange of ratings and comments between co-navigators and boat owners, a two-way evaluation process is established and open for 14 days from the end of the excursion or co-navigation. For boat owners, evaluations will be based on the following criteria
- Accuracy of the listing
- Onboard comfort and cleanliness
- Boat condition
- Welcome and communication
- Overall satisfaction
- Value for money
