How do reviews and ratings I leave for an owner/captain work?
On boatUnity, your feedback is invaluable. After each booking, you have the opportunity to share your experience in detail, your impressions of the boat you used, the captain who led it, or the owner who entrusted it to you.
Your reviews play a crucial role in helping other co-navigators make informed choices when selecting their next adventure, and vice versa. Indeed, by choosing a boat with positive reviews and a corresponding rating, you maximize your chances of having an unforgettable experience.
How Reviews work ?
After each trip, the boat owner and yourself, as a tenant/co-navigator, can leave comments for each other. You have 14 days to write a review. It will remain hidden until the other person leaves their review or until the end of the 14-day period. Then, the reviews are posted on your profile as well as on the boat listing and the owner's profile.
The length of the review is limited to 500 words. After sharing the review, you have the option to make changes within a 48-hour window or until the owner finalizes theirs.
How Ratings work ?
In addition to comments, you can provide a rating from 1 to 5 stars to evaluate your experience on the last booked boat. The overall rating will then be displayed on the boat listing and undoubtedly significantly influence the decision of other potential co-navigators to book the same boat.
You can also rate the categories below and provide feedback on what you liked or what could be improved:
- Listing Accuracy
- Onboard Comfort and Cleanliness
- Boat Maintenance
- Host and Communication
- Overall Satisfaction
- Value for Money
Your detailed feedback helps maintain the quality of our community and assists other members in making informed decisions. Thank you for contributing to the boatUnity community!
